Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Industries

Mukesh Ambani’s telecomm company-JIO is targeting one million subscribers a day for the first 100 days of a to-be-held commercial launch in March-April 2016. The company already initiated the move with an ‘employee and friends only’ debut. This is big challenge for the incumbents Bharthi Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular even when JIO is able to meet only half the target. The company is already said to have drawn lists of high average revenue customers.
