Bangalore: ‘Survival of the fittest’ has become the norm for businesses. To stop smart innovation is to die. The ever increasing competition has swallowed even the very best of the companies. Every year, 24/7 Wall Street releases a list of companies that it predicts will meet the end soon. Most of its predictions have been impressively spot on. Based on inefficiency, lack of innovation or financing and on many other such criteria, 24/7 Wall St has come up with a list of companies that they predict will disappear in 2014, reports Douglas A. McIntyre.

Martha Stewart Living Magazine

The publishing division of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has been in trouble since last couple of years as its publishing revenue is swooping down the lane. The revenue went down to $24.5 million from $30.8 million in the beginning of this year. The flagship company, Martha Stewart Living has seen a considerable drop in advertising pages which fell to 766 last year from 1,306 in 2008. In an attempt to escape doom, the company could move to online magazine like many other newspapers.
