Connectiva Systems secures $17 Mn

Avi Basu cofounfded Connectiva Systems, a provider of revenue and risk management solutions for the telecommunications industry completed a $17 million round of investment led by NEA - IndoUS Ventures; IFC, a member of the World Bank Group; and SAP Ventures and Ovation Capital.

“Telecom companies lose billions of dollars annually due to revenue leakage and other risk factors, and Connectiva plays a central role in helping recover this revenue,” said the CEO Basu. The company’s flagship software product— ONEREViEW, a revenue and risk management product suite helps service providers improve their business and financial performance.

Headquartered in New York, Connectiva has offices globally and employs over 300 people at its Global Innovation Center in Kolkata, India. Operators who have partnered with the company include Cable & Wireless, Bharti Airtel and the Zain Group. siliconindia had selected Connectiva as one of the ‘Top 10 Software Companies. [see p.25]
