Four Soft has appointed Rajshekhar Roy as the new CEO. Roy had joined Four Soft in October 2007 as the Head of Global Delivery and was later promoted as the COO. An MBA in marketing from IIM, Kolkata, he brings with him over 20 years of rich business management experience in the areas of software services, business process outsourcing, and management consulting. At the start of his career he worked with DEC and HP in the areas of software consulting and sales. Subsequently, he ventured into software delivery and marketing in the U.S., Europe, and Asia Pacific markets. For the last ten years, Roy has primarily been heading operations of companies.

Roy is a certified trainer in Organization Development, Change Management, Quality Management, and customer service; organization development, and sales are the areas of his core competence. Talking about his appointment, Roy says, "As the CEO, my role is to make sure that a variety of stakeholders become confident about our business. It is going to be important to make ambitious growth plans and we need to be able to achieve them. The three key areas that I see for Four Soft are customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth. I have been trying to align the organization in this path throughout the last one year, and will continue the efforts in this area." He feels that his biggest challenge currently is to establish the company's products in the global markets with an aggressive timeline.

Outside work, Roy enjoys traveling both within and outside the country. His other passions include reading, watching good plays and movies, and music concerts. He is also an ardent sports fan.
