Pace India has set up its first embedded systems lab in RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, which can help students to prepare for the industry. The lab will be used by undergraduate and postgraduate students from different engineering verticals like telecommunications, electronics, and information sciences for studying projects in digital video and set top box technology.

“The lab is meant for students to work on projects that are sub-system of the set top box technology used in MPEG 4 system for digitizing video and broadcast. The high definition television is the future, and these students will get to work along with the Pace engineers on industry level projects,” says Professor Raja Rao, Principal, RV College.

David McKinney, Chief Operating Officer, Pace says, “The embedded systems lab is our corporate social responsibility. The lab will help students gain industry level knowledge and expertise during their studies.”
