MacSpeech has unveiled MacSpeech Dictate 1.5, a speech recognition solution for Macintosh. With MacSpeech, which has an accuracy level of 90 percent, there is no need to use a mouse or keyboard. All commands including moving from one document to another are executed by the software.

MacSpeech works with a number of applications, including Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress, and Apple applications like iChat, iPhoto, among others. With just minutes of training one can start using MacSpeech which has a spelling help mode that assists in spelling words and names. The product boasts of a complete online searchable help book and comes with a high quality headset microphone. It is available with MacSpeech certified wired USB Microphone and MacSpeech certified Revolabs xTag wireless lapel Microphone at Rs. 11,995 and Rs. 21,995 respectively.
