Unfortunately, due to devotion for the foreign goods majority of the Indian franchises are more of Brokers & not stockiest, they order semiconductor components from foreign countries & then supply. A Bangalore based firm which was in need of semiconductor component made an order with a company in U.S. The U.S. firm which didn’t have the sufficient stock ordered the same from Bangalore based Live Wire Informatics (LWI) and imported it to U.S. and then re exported it to Bangalore at a higher rate.

“The organization started with a 12 member global team and now we have more than 50+ members globally. We do a lot of research, market study and testing before we buy and stock those obsolete / long – lead time parts and also were the first one to understand the long term needs of INDIAN market. Today, there are many products that might not be available even with the manufacturers are often available in LWI’s inventory,” said Dinesh Singh Samyal, CEO, LWI.

With its growing middle class population of nearly 400 million people which will only increase over time, India’s electronic equipment consumption which was estimated at around $28.2 billion in 2005, is expected to reach $363 billion by 2015. By understanding the need and the pace at which the domestic market grows, LWI, an ISO9001:2008 Company has developed a full time technical support and in-house trained engineering staff to help the customers choose the correct devices off –the shelf for their varied needs.

LWI, is part of the global franchise Live Wire Electronics. It has grown to become the preferred independent distributor of choice to numerous customers. The key competitive factors like the amount of inventory that the company maintains, its qualified team, well equipped QC lab and transparent business practice provides an edge over its competitors.

The organization’s stocks highly allocated and obsolete products in electronic components, integrated circuits and semiconductors. LWI is also an independent stocking distributor of electronic components and also maintains a substantial product inventory from the world’s finest manufacturers. With huge stock of obsolete components it is currently focusing on industrial and military grade electronic components.
