Confident and experienced Amitabh Jacob is appointed as RSA Channel Manager for India and SAARC at RSA, the security division of EMC. He is responsible for fostering and managing RSA channel relationships. He will also work with the company's channel partners to identify new market opportunities and help achieve business objectives.

Prior to joining RSA, Jacob held senior positions in Sun Microsystems and IBM India over the past 10 years. In his previous roles, he was responsible for developing and managing channels across India including large and mid-sized system integrators, second tier channels and service providers, and managing the high growth mid-market business. Jacob began his career at IT&T at New Delhi, handling direct institutional sales. He went on to join IBM in 2000 where he spent eight years across functions including channel management and mid-market sales management.

A graduate in business management from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management at Delhi, Jacob is also an active tennis player and sports enthusiast apart from work.
