India has over 159 Million children in the age group of 0 – 6 years according to the census of 2011. Early childhood is acknowledged as the most crucial period in a person's life, when the rate of development is very high and foundations are laid for cumulative lifelong learning and human development. There is growing scientific evidence that the development of the brain in the early years is a pathway that affects physical and mental health, learning and behavior throughout the life cycle.

The quality of non-formal preschool or early childhood care and education imparted through these multiple channels is uneven, and varies from a minimalist approach to a mushrooming of accelerated academic programs. Today, there are pre-schools that are making good progress in the area of early education. Numerous preschools understand the need of educating the child on an all round basis instead on an IQ based learning. However, many believe that emotional intelligence would develop naturally as we grow older, which can only be partially true. It is a skill that can be learned, to a certain extent at a very young age explains Judy Julin from the U.S. who developed a ground breaking enrichment program for preschools.
Pre-schools are outside the official formal educational system and there is little government expenditure on this segment. High growth, low entry barriers, low-funding requirements and the virtual absence of public policy restrictions make this segment attractive. The estimated private revenue in the pre-school segment was at $2 billion in 2012 and is expected to reach $2.9 billion in 2015. RTE norms are expected to tilt the balance in favor of pure pre-school and against integrated pre-schools with K-12.

In order to find the best options in preschools one needs a thorough research, a neck deep assurance of safety for "just beginner kids' which is packed with well-trained teachers and stimulating activities. To help ease the pain, and with the primary focus to cater to these needs of parents to select the best schools for their children, an extensive research was carried out by the panel of experts at SiliconIndia. After intensive short listing and online voting over a period of one month; the editorial board of SiliconIndia, along with a distinguished panel comprising of senior managements of Top Pre-Schools, have together decided on the Best Pre-School franchisees ranking that are the most sought after.
We hope this proves beneficial to you.
