Samsung Galaxy S5 Variants: All in One, But Not One in All!




Samsung Galaxy S5 Quad-core: This phone runs in countries that widely use 4G network with a snapdragon processor instead of the Exynos 5 chip. The device is packs with octa core processor and 5.1 super AMOLED touch screen with 1920x1080 pixels resolution.

This phone has a 16GB internal storage and supports 128 microSD with a 2GB RAM. At the back it has a 16MP camera LED flash, and in the front a normal 2MP camera. Like the other phones it connects to all the networks and features the finger sensor and the heart rate monitor.

Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE: The Company launched the LTE model for the faster 4G network in South Korea. The LTE model is a major upgrade from the other variants, with a higher resolution display, faster processor with more RAM. The Galaxy S5 LTE has a 5.1-inch display with QHD (1440x2560p) resolution. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Touch Wiz UI.

It packs a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB RAM and comes with 16 and 32GB internal storage options, plus it supports microSD cards with up to 128GB capacity. Like the S5 Quad Core variant, it has a 16MP LED flash camera, and the usual 2GB camera in the front. It has the finger sensor, heart rate monitor and it is also IP67 certified.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport: The S5 Sports is a rugged version of all of Samsung’s smartphones. The phone is a basic version with physical buttons for home, back and task switcher. The phone has all the hardwares like the 5.1 super AMOLED touch screen, with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It has the android kitkat processor.

It comes with in-built 16GB internal storage with capacity to hold 128GB microSD as well. The phone is part of Sprint’s new health live tracking program, which has the Freelive app. This phone though does not have the finger sensor.
