Samsung Galaxy S5 Variants: All in One, But Not One in All!

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active: The Samsung S5 Active has a major difference from the rest; it has a button at the side that acts as the home button. This key also brings up the Active Zone app like the compass, clock flashlight and the barometer. This phone is only sold in U.S through AT&T.

The other difference with this phone is that apart from the IP67 certification it is also MIL-STD-810G certified. The certification came under the U.S military that set certain tests to check its durability of the equipment under adverse conditions. The S5 Active has all the hardware and software capabilities like the rest but it only has the finger sensor and not the heart beat monitor.

Samsung Galaxy S5 mini: The phone is a 2014 model to be released in July. Just like the S5 octa-core is made for 2G, 3G and 4G SIM applications along with wifi and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone has a 4.5-inch 720p display that runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with a 1.5GB RAM. It has a 16GB in built storage capacity with a micro memory card slot up to 64GB.

At the back, it has an 8MP LED flash camera, with a 2.1MP camera in the front. It has a finger sensor, a heart rate monitor and it features a power save back up mode. The phone IP67 certified meaning it is water resistant to certain limits.

So when looking out for a phone to buy according to your needs, these phones have one thing or the other to attract. Camera fans could go for the K Zoom version and people who are into games may go for a higher internal storage with the 2GB RAM. These variants may look to have the same features but they all have one thing or another that stands them out from the rest according to the likes of the buyer.
