4. Lenovo ThinkPad X1

Price: Rs 98,000
Weight: 1.67 kg
Pros: USB 3.0, eSATA, unbreakable gorilla glass screen, , 80% recharge in 30 minutes.
Cons: Screen that gives a bad glare, dense construction.

The unbreakable gorilla glass screen is definitely one of the best features of this ultrabook, since it adds to the rock-solid feel and clean design. However, the glass gives off a glare that only proves to be irritating once you get over the thrill of dropping the device and seeing the glass unbroken-- (no, not really), especially considering that Lenovo's laptops have been prized for their anti-glare screens. The keyboard is backlit, and so helps when you need to work in the dark. The Thinkpad’s signature trackpoint only adds to the trackpad and the overall easy experience of input on the device.  However, the ultrabook has a bad battery backup (a measly 1 hour 10 minutes) —one that could prove to hinder anybody on the go, but this disadvantage is almost made up for by the fact that it recharges and has a reservoir of 80 percent charge after being put on charge for 30 minutes. The device has an array of connectivity options that include USB 3.0, eSATA and Bluetooth 3.0.
