The 820’s 4.3-inch AMOLED screen is good enough to use in the sun because of its ClearBlack technology but not as good as its sibling. Even though it doesn’t have Corning Gorilla Glass protection, it is not taken much of a consideration. Moreover, it also has a reflective display.
The ZL possesses 5-inch full HD display. Even though it is scratch-resistant like Xperia Z, it doesn’t share the features of water-proof and dust-proof.

Lumia 820 comes with a 1, 650mAh battery which lasts for a day and half with moderate usage without using any power-saving techniques.
Meanwhile, the stamina mode of Xperia ZL battery is another striking feature which is extremely good for a Smartphone. The stamina mode extends battery life and doesn’t allow apps to consume the battery life and it tells how long it will last on standby which is an add-on feature compared to its rival Lumia 820.
