Lenovo launches Android IdeaPad A10 Tablet/Laptop At 19,990


Bangalore: The Chinese laptop and Smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo launched an Android powered dual-mode Notebook priced at 19,000. IdeaPad A10, is touted to be the first ever notebook to be based on Android that can be flipped 300 degrees to turn it into a tablet.

The 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels can be used in laptop and as well as stand modes. Based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean the device runs on Cotex-A9 1.6GHz Quad Core Processor coupled with 2GB RAM.  With 10-point multi-touch display and integrated graphics card the gadget is marked cheaper than Google’s Chromebook. IdeaPad A10 houses a 0.3MP web camera and offers upto 32GB of internal storage space. The 2 cell battery is said to offer uninterrupted power supply for 9 hours on video playback and up to 39 hours audio. With additional features including Micro USB, Micro HDMI, card reader and Audio Combo Jack, the gadget weighs 1kilogram.

Some of the other new devices revealed by the firm in the ongoing CES 2014 event include the likes of the MIIX2 and the Flex 14D and 15D convertible laptops. The devices are in addition to the IdeaPad Yoga 2, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad 8 tablet and the One Link Dock Pro connector which were announced on Monday by the multimedia computing giant.
