Bangalore: The year 2013 held many surprises for the budget conscious Indians with many mobiles- light on wallet good on performance- making it to market. These gadgets were priced at the sweet spot of 5,000 to 15,000 and offered wide range of specs like quad-core processor, bigger screen sizes, HD displays, 8MP cameras among others. It was not only about Android and Windows Phone 8 that dominated this sweet spot, but a feature phone from Nokia’s Asha series has made it to the list too. In our conversation with Flipkart, we have narrowed down the list to 10 best selling mobiles under 15,000 in 2013.

#10 Xolo Q700

Price: About 9,929

While the users were fretted about low RAM space, weak processor, smaller screen sizes and low resolution cameras in the phones costing below 10,000, Xolo Q700 turned out to be their first choice which satisfied their geek needs. The Smartphone came with powerful quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7   processor complimented with 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX544 GPU which fused very well with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It has a 4.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive qHD touchscreen at 540x960 pixels resolution illuminating 16M colors. The device came with 4 GB internal storage which could be further increased to 32 GB via microSD. It packed a 5MP rear and VGA front camera, while the former was accompanied by Flash.
