Nokia’s cheapest Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Lumia 520, which was launched in April 2013 was the most searched gadget in month of May according to Google trends. The budget Lumia overtook other Windows mobiles like Lumia 720, 820 and HTC 8S, by snatched more than 4 percent of the Windows Phone installed base in less than a month after its launch.

Lumia 520 came with a 4-inch WVGA display at resolution of 480x800 pixels. Powered by 1GHz dual core processor along with 512 MB RAM, and running on less resource mongering OS Windows Phone 8, it pulled off complex tasks easily.

The device packed 5MP rear camera and came with internal storage of 8GB which could further be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

Apart from that, the Smartphone has same digital camera lenses as its high end siblings, Lumia 920 and 820. The Cinemagraph feature adds motion to still images and can be easily shared via social networking sites. In addition, it brought along various other features like free music streaming facility, PeopleHub, SmartShoot and the like.
