iPhone 5: Hits and Misses

iPhone 5 Misses the Wireless Charging

Wireless charging is the new feature that a lot of smartphone companies are adopting into their new handsets. The two recent smartphones that come with this feature of wireless charging are Samsung Galaxy S III and the Nokia Lumia 920.

What is wireless charging? Well it basically happens when an object uses electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. In spite of the two smartphones from the competitors having this option; it is missing from the new iPhone.

This comes as a surprise as there were many rumors, which sounded pretty strong and said that the new iPhone would come with the wireless charging feature.

A Larger Screen- Bad For Apps?

The new iPhone as we all know by now is longer than the older iPhones. This will definitely affect how the user views the apps on the phone. The already existing apps will appear on the screen of the new iPhone with two black strips on both the sides.

It’s for sure that app developers will develop apps keeping in mind the new phone and might update the already existing apps to suit iPhone 5. But the question that arises now is that how will the new apps developed for iPhone 5 function on the older phones?

Only time will give us the answers to this question.
