Gadget Flops 2014: 10 Smartphones That Didn't Survive

# LG G3

LG's 2014 flagship couldn't do that well in the market as its predecessor did. The LG G3 boasted of a QHD or a 2K display which was the reason for the problems that users faced when they bought the phone.

LG G3Though being powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and backed up by a 3GB RAM, the display failed to perform well leading to lag and stutter. The Battery backup was also not great as compared to the LG G2 and the plastic removable back in place of a unibody form factor made the phone feel less premium.

# Nokia X-series

The X series from Nokia pitched the company's entry into Android. On the other hand, the phone was launched at the time when the company's deal with Microsoft to acquire its devices business was about to be signed.

The phones were sandwiched between the Asha and Lumia phones and deficient of access to Google's services. In reality, the Google services were replaced by the Microsoft ones and phones could not find buyers as the affordable Android phones made their way into the market easily.
