But here is good news for all those people out there, a Noida-based corporation Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd. will launch the cheapest smartphone available in the market— Freedom 251 on 17th February, reports Gadgets 360°.

According to the company Freedom 251 will be priced at 251, which is the least price for any smartphone in the world. Some of the important features of the phone include 4-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), 3.2-megapixel back camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera, and a 1450mAh battery. The phone will operate on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS and will also support 3G for lightning-fast web browsing. And on top of that the company offers a 1 year warranty on the phone supported by their 650 service centers across India.

The company will unveil the phone officially in New Delhi on Wednesday evening; the inaugural will be presided over by Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, MP, with the Union Defence Minister Sri Manohar Parrikar as the Chief Guest. Ringing Bells has declared that the Freedom 251 smartphone is a result and immense endeavor from government and is publicizing it as an achievement anecdote of Modi's flagship 'Make in India' scheme. Freedom 251 can play a major role in making the ‘Digital India’ vision into a reality.

The Freedom 251 smartphone is accessible for pre-order on the company website starting 18th February at 6 AM and close on 21st February at 8 PM.
