When one of the world’s richest men had to marry his daughter to her prince charming he did it in style. According to reposts L.N Mittal spent close to $68 million. The wedding lasted for 6 days and it was held in two different venues; the Palace of Versailles and the 17^th century Chateau Vaux le Vicomte in the land of love; France. The engagement was held at the Palace of Versailles and this was the first time in the history of that palace that anyone was allowed to hold a private function in its premises and if reports are to be believed then Lakshmi Mittal took over a year to get permission for this!

This wedding can be truly called a Bollywood over the top wedding as there was a play written by Javed Akhtar and songs were done by Shankar Mahadevan which narrated the story of the bride and groom. On the day of the wedding Shah Rukh Khan performed to his hit numbers. If that was not all, Kylie Minogue was also a part of the entertainment. Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerjee enacted the future for the married couple to their song from Hum Tum.
