After the death of his first wife former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan said that he would never marry again. But they say ‘never say never’. Pierce Brosnan met and fell in love with Keely Shaye Smith when they met at an interview where Keely interviewed Brosnan for Entertainment Tonight. Later they got married at Abbey, a 13th-century stone Catholic Church in County Mayo. At the wedding the bride wore Richard Tyler silk dress with a lace coat covered in pearls and she wore an antique diamond-and-pearl tiara. Pierce wore full tails designed by Gianni Campagna.

The wedding reception was held at the 13th-century Ashford Castle in Ireland. The castle was decorated with roses, stephanotis, gardenias, lilies of the valley, delphinium, and greenery. The tables had white and pink rose petals along with floating candles. 12 years later they are still together and very much in love and they have two children together.
