OnePlus One To Receive Update After OnePlus 2 Launches

BANGALORE: The Chinese Smartphone startup OnePlus is making news after its business tie with Dropbox and price cut on its first device ‘One’ in Europe. Now, the company has spilled seeds regarding One’s latest Android 5.1 Lollipop update along with its next Smartphone – OnePlus 2’s contest, reports NDTV.

The firm posts in couple forums that they would let users to use the new OnePlus 2 before it is launch by conducting contests. The first post said, "Photo Mania 2015 - Be the first to experience the OnePlus 2!" points at the upcoming handset will house good quality camera.

Then the second post titled "Your OnePlus Story - Be the first to experience the OnePlus 2!" and announces the contest details alongside. However, both the posts mention “OnePlus 2” numerous times that confirms the name of next device from the company. The winners of these contests will be entitled to enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to OnePlus headquarters in Hong Kong and they get to observe the next handset before its launch.

OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, gave away the price and processor of OnePlus 2 while talking to his Weibo followers. Lau showed positive signs when his followers suggested a price of 2,499 Chinese Yuan (Approx. 25,000).
