OnePlus One To Receive Update After OnePlus 2 Launches

On the other hand, the company announced that OnePlus users will receive Android 5.1 Lollipop based Cyanogen Mod 12.1 soon. But the update for Oxygen OS with Android 5.1 build will be delayed and it will be released only after the OnePlus 2 delivered to market.

According to company forum, the whole team is working on the OxygenOS release for the OnePlus 2 and they can’t divert their attention towards OnePlus One side-by-side. When comes to Cyanogen 12.1 update, the firm says, a prototype is undergoing factory test and Google certification.

The administrator of OnePlus forum said, “Some of you have been experiencing touchscreen issues, we've gone through several iterations of the fix to make sure the solution works with the different panels we have, and eliminated some of the side effects we've seen like battery drain and mura effects. The last iteration is undergoing stringent testing, it's looking stable and promising. Both OxygenOS and CM will get the latest fix,” making the fan boys to calm down regarding the touchscreen issues.
