Inventions Overlooked in CES 2016


BENGALURU: Nowadays, people around the world are attracted to phones, tablets, and TVs, and overlook the rest of the innovative inventions. In the Las Vegas annual CES tech show 2016, many focused on the new invention in the smartphones and laptop arena and forgot to acknowledge the rest, compiles The Economic Times.

Here are some of the inventions that went unnoticed in the tech show:

1. Smart shoe

Two French technology companies, Zhor Tech and DigitSole, showcased a pair of sneakers that is connected to a smartphone through Bluetooth. Through an app, one can control the temperature of the shoe, track the day, measure the calories burned, and resize the length. The shoe is partially controlled by the user and one can transmit the data to the phone.

2. Akoustic Arts ‘A’ Speaker

The unidirectional speaker provides an experience almost similar to headphones. Without anyone hearing, the ‘A’ speaker can ostensibly blast sound from across the room to the pointed direction. The wireless speaker has the sound output that travels in a particular direction covering only certain area.
