Enliven Your TV Experience At CES 2014

Bangalore: With the largest trade show featuring the $203 billion U.S. consumer electronics industry being flagged off in Las Vegas, it is an early peek for consumers to envision the latest TV’s, to be unraveled in the coming months. The technology radar at CES 2014 is aglow with higher definition picture quality, set to enhance the TV experience of the pixel density enthusiast in the coming months.

Ultra HD TVs, or 4K TVs, the centre stage player of CES 2013, though bundled in double the amount of pixels as normal HD sets, proved to be beyond the affordable range. Internet-connected Smart TVs also packed in built in apps and new interfaces, but these additions were still in the nascent stages of technology up gradations.

So, what does CES 2014 have in its stock pile?

2014 will undoubtedly see more of 4K TV’s unveiled from the leading players like Sony, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Philips and Toshiba. The improvements could be towards slashing prices for wider screen sizes. LG and Samsung are set to showcase the giant 105in Ultra HD 4K TVs. With Panasonic phasing out of its manufacture of plasma TVs, the new entrants in this segment could be limited.
