After experimenting with Android, Huawei finally came up with Ascend W1 Smartphone showing some love towards Windows Phone 8 operating system. It is the least expensive Windows Phone in the Chinese market. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 dual core processor and 512 MB of RAM. The on board storage capacity of the Smartphone is expandable with microSD card from 4GB to 32 GB.

The device has a 4 inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. There is a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and a 1950 mAh battery claiming 470 hours of standby time. 

The connectivity features include 3G and Wi-Fi. Other features like A-GPS and media player are also available with this Phone.
