2. Social TV and its Confusion:

Do you know what a Social TV is or what it actually does? Don’t be embarrassed, actually TV app makers and broadcasters themselves are still trying to figure out the real meaning of Social TV. With the entry of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter into our life, the TV makers are trying their luck to make us use their device to access these networking sites. This will increase the engagement time with our TVs and a direct impact on utility factor, and that what TV makers want. But sadly people still see TV as an entertainment provider only and they are not comfortable with the idea of Tweeting through a TV.

3. The Clutter of Apps:

What would it look like if you have an app for each channel, program and network? Does it sound amazing or awful? With all those upcoming so called ‘Smart TVs’ with rows and columns of apps, this clutter is going to increase. Smart TVs will give you a wide option to download and store your favorite shows and some interesting functionalities to watch your favorite channel. But this makes the TVs to lose its simplicity and gain complexity for free.  And the problem becomes bigger when most of the consumers believe that their smartphones are tablets are enough to do the smart-act.
