Bangalore: Ever since the mobile phones made an entry into the market speculations of their health hazards have been doing the rounds. Many of the speculations and rumors regarding the harmful usage results of using a cell phone have been proved by researchers and scientist throughout the world.

The WHO (World Health Organization) in May 2011 went on to release a statement stating that high use of mobile phones may lead to cancer.

1. Reason Behind the Cause Of Cancer?

There have always been a lot of speculations that using mobile phones can cause cancer. Though it hasn’t been proven completely there are a lot of studies that point to the fact that over usage of mobile phones can lead to cancer. WHO has put cell phones in the carcinogenic list which also included things like smoking. This is because cell phones emit radio frequency energy which gets absorbed by tissues closest to the phone. Exposure to this frequency is known to be a cause of cancer.
