BANGALORE: Apart from using your iPhone for regular things like browsing the web, making calls and downloading apps, did you know you could also correct Siri’s pronunciations or you can enable your device to automatically stop playing music? Apparently you can, here’s a list of hidden things your iPhone can do as compiled by the Laptop magazine.

If you have copy pasted or typed texts wrongly, shake the phone and a menu will be seen on the screen asking if you want to undo the action or cancel it. Shaking it again will allow you to restore the text and resume and typing again. This option works on the Safari browser, mail, notes, SMS and many more identical apps and this feature is compatible from the Apple phones with the OS versions iOS 3 and above.

# Take a picture with your iPhone’s Volume button: If you don’t want to take of your gloves to take a picture, here’s simple solution for it. You can use the phone’s volume control as a shutter button to click photos without touching the screen. All you have to do is keep the camera mode on in the phone, and press any one of the volume controls to snap pictures.
