Panasonic P31

Panasonic has added yet another model to its “P” series. The P31 is essentially an entry-level quad-core smartphone. It sports a 5-inch screen with 854 X 480 pixels, that results in a low pixel density of 196PPI. The screen will lack crispness and sharpness, other phones in this price range offer a HD screen. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It is a Dual-SIM phone but supports only Micro-SIM cards. The phone has a 8 megapixel rear camera which supports Full HD video recording and also there is a secondary camera for video calling.

With Panasonic P31, the company has introduced "Play Life" user interface. The smartphone understands gestures (hand movements) with its "Gesture Play" feature, it lets the user multi-task while playing videos with the "Pop-i Player". The "Music café" feature lets the user organise music. Its competitors are Moto G and Xolo Q1000 which offer similar hardware specifications but with a better screen.
