Make sure the before clicking on the URL subscribed in the mail, if it is a notified one. Because the URL might look similar to your banks URL but it is not a secure site and the hackers will get hold of your personal details through these sites. If you aren't sure whether you received an email directly from the bank, forward it to them for review. Before you make any decision wait for the confirmation of the bank.
