Suppression of Material Facts
Many times it happens that the insurance seeker does not disclose all relevant facts while getting the insurance. This can later complicate the situation while claiming insurance. Many people do not disclose certain facts about their illness, hereditary or otherwise. So, they can’t claim insurance at the right time. Gai says, "Minor and common ailments which are completely curable need not be disclosed. Yet, claims are rejected on the ground that such ailments were not disclosed at the time of applying for the policy."
