Indicators of a Broken Budget
4) Financial Fights with Significant Other –
Having financial fights with one’s significant other is an ugly picture. No one would want to squabble over money as this is just not done. Financial dependence of our partners may curtail our spending to an extent but this is a necessary evil. One should not eat up the share of money intended for one’s partner. Also, borrowing money from them and spending them on less than useful items can further aggravate the problem. Having a common spending pattern between the 2 is a mandatory requirement in order to stave off fights over money. Moreover, fighting over money and preferring money over our loved ones is really improper.
5) Borrowing from People –
We all have gone through the “I will pay you back when I have money.” This is something from which all of us have gone and understand the pain and embarrassment associated with it. Borrowing money can be the chronic habit of many people. Such people need professional help. However, people who borrow money only in dire need can be redeemed. Remember, borrowing money is only alright when one intends to pay it back as soon as possible. So, do not borrow money for every little thing. Having a sound financial system may be difficult to achieve but is not impossible. Do keep a track on all your spending and remove the areas of unnecessary spending. Only with practice will this habit of borrowing go away.
