Soros has been married and divorced twice. In 1960, Soros tied his knot with Annaliese Witschak, an ethnic German immigrant from Germany. After their marriage went on a rocky hill, they ended up divorcing each other in 1983. The couple had three children named Robert Daniel Soros, Andrea Soros Colombel and Jonathan Tivadar Soros.

Soon after his separation with Witschak in 1983, in the same year he wedded Susan Weber Soros, who was twenty five years younger to him. But even his second marriage did not last for long and the couple split-up in 2005. From his second marriage he had two children Alexander Soros and Gregory Soros.
