1. Carlos Slim
Carlos Slim ranks top in the list of world’s richest men according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index in 2012 with an estimated worth of $75.5 billion. He started his carrier as a trader in Mexico and formed his own brokerage firm, which further prolonged to invest in construction, individual business, manufacturing, retail etc.
Slim defines his success as, “When you live for others' opinions, you are dead. I don't want to live thinking about how I'll be remembered" quoted by Business Insider.
2. Bill Gates
William Henry "Bill" Gates III, is America’s richest man and second in the world. Though Gates’ family had a law carrier in their mind for him, but Gates chose what he was meant for. At 13 he wrote his first computer program for General Electronics, tic-tac-toe, a basic game that allowed users to play against the computer. Gates was very much spellbound by the machine and recalling the moment he states, "There was just something neat about the machine”.
