THE LARGEST BANK NOTE

The world's largest single banknote is the 100,000-peso note that was created by the government of the Philippines in 1998. It was primarily designed to celebrate a century of independence from Spanish rule. It was the size of an existing legal paper.

Unfortunately the note never came into public and was given only to collectors, who could purchase one of the limited-edition notes for 180,000 pesos equal to about $3,700.
