6. Don’t Befriend Strangers

We all just love to see our ‘friends’ list’ grow with the passing moment. It has become sort of a status symbol these days to have tons of online friends. It has become such a craze with gen-Y that befriending strangers is not an uncommon activity. We might add friends of our friends but how many are actually genuine? Apart from fake accounts, the net is filled with hackers who wait patiently to hook unsuspecting victims. If you love the sanctity of your mail id and PIN, do not befriend strangers.
