Indian autos will start moving straight away to BS-VI norms by the beginning of April 2020. Producers of important engine components would become the direct beneficiaries from this development. To reduce pollution from CVs, government has planned to dump trucks that are more than a decade old in the scrap. This would help in enhancing MHCV industry growth in FY17/18. Bosch and Maruti are expected to be the key players.
