5. “I deserve nice things.”

Wealthy people don’t live the way we think they do. They are more frugal than others. They never feel that ‘they deserve something’. So instead of maintaining a lavish lifestyle, they live below their means.

Think wealthy: Instead of thinking what you deserve to buy more stuff with your hard-earned money, tell yourself you deserve to make that money grow by investing. Saving money should be your first priority; after all, how can you get rich without accumulating money in the bank?
