Buffett reveres Wells Fargo to such an extent that he was even willing to invest his entire money in it. Berkshire Hathaway has "large ownership interests in four exceptional companies," including IBM and Wells Fargo. Buffett sees "these holdings as partnership interests in wonderful businesses, not as marketable securities to be bought or sold based on their near-term prospects." Buffett quotes the following for Wells Fargo, "The banking industry is back on its feet and Wells Fargo is prospering. Its earnings are strong, its assets solid and its capital at record levels."
