7. Concession on Your Vehicle:

When you drive your car less on the road and it is parked for most of the time in your residential garage, you can avail a discount. If you notify your insurer that your vehicle was lying in the garage or was not in use for a minimum period of two months, then you can avail a concession during renewal of the policy either by way of extending the period after expiry or a credit to the renewal premium.

By being a member of a designated automobile association, you can avail discounts of 5 percent on own damage premium.
