Speaker Bio:

Subu Goparaju

Senior Vice President, Head – Infosys Labs & Product R&D, Infosys, Infosys Technologies

Subu is Vice President & Head of Software Engineering and Technology Labs (SETLabs) the Technology Research & Innovation arm of Infosys. He also heads the Intellectual Property Cell (IP Cell) of Infosys and the Product Incubation Engineering unit (PIE). Subu is having more than 2 decades of IT experience. Subu started his career with Infosys in 1988 and spent more than 10 years in IT services and solutions delivery management. In 2000 he started SETLabs. In 2005 Subu started the Intellectual Property Cell of Infosys and is responsible for the IP protection and commercialization.

Nakul Shenoy

Director & User Experience Evangelist, PeepalDesign

Nakul spent the last decade working in areas of user experience and usability research, gaining extensive experience in designing user-friendly solutions. Armed with a sound working knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM), his expertise is in User Research, Usability Testing, and Accessibility. Before joining PeepalDesign, he has served as the Principal Designer - User Experience for SAP Business ByDesign.

Harish Sivaramakrishnan

Developer Evangelist, Adobe Systems

Harish is a Developer Evangelist at Adobe Systems. Harish has over 9 years of experience working with internet technologies with a special focus on Web and Open Standards. In the evangelist role, his responsibilities include evangelizing Web & Open Standards and innovations of Adobe in that space worldwide, Speaking at tech conferences, establishing strategic partnerships with existing customers and also identifying prospective partnership / evangelism opportunities.

Uday M. Shankar

Front-End Architect & UX Prototyping Lead, HP R&D

Uday is a UX/Front End Architect. He presently heads the Front End Architecture & Design Prototyping function in HP UX Studio, Bangalore - India. Where, he works closely with designers, developers and product managers to design and prototype experiences across web and handheld devices. In his previous roles at Yahoo!, Nokia etc, Uday had the opportunity to work on various UI technologies including Java, Adobe Flex, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, Handlebars/Mustache, EJS to build rich internet applications for the web and devices. He is a regular speaker at design and tech events on the subject of design, prototyping and front end development. He is also a visiting faculty at design institutes like TechnoPoint, NID (National Institute of Design) - one of the leading design institutes in India.

Anshuman kumar

Interaction Designer, Google

Anshuman works as an Interaction designer at Google. He got trained as an Architect, before moving to the technology space to create memorable experiences on a different canvas. In his previous avatar as a Yahoo!, he has worked in the space of Ad experiences for the web. Anshuman is passionate about design education and regularly conducts workshops & courses in NID Bangalore.

Sudhindra V

Head of Experience Design - SapientNitro India, Sapient

Sudhindra is a Certified Usability Analyst, with over 12 years in various roles and capacities architecting User Interfaces. He heads the Experience Design for Sapient Nitro in India and leads the capacity in client delivery and standards. He has extensive hands on experience in the length and breadth of the User Centered Design Methodology, having led several medium to large projects across Corporate Banking, Airline, News and Media, Drug Discovery, Healthcare and IT Domains. He has authored many articles and stories that have appeared in the recently published book “UX Story Tellers” as well as local newspapers. As a volunteer, he heads the Asia region of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and is a prominent activist in the Bangalore UX scene, having been one of the core organizers of World Usability Day events in the past years.

Anil Bhat

Amit Agarwal is a Web Developer at Google India. He loves Javascript to the core. He has 4+ years of industry experience and before Google he has worked at PubMatic India and Pramati Technologies. Amit has done lot of Front End development work in his professional experience and has worked with almost all kind of teams from small to large. He understands all the technical aspects of user interface development. Currently he works on Google Map Maker.

With Buildabazaar and Infibeam Ajay hope to push the boundaries of online retail in India.

Thejesh GN

Independent Technologist, Developer

Thejesh started his career with Siemens Infosystems as an intern. Then he joined Infosys Technologies as a Software Engineer. Since then, he has taken many roles such as Developer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Specialist and Technical Architect. Presently he spends most of his day at Mavrix while moonlighting on his personal projects. He speaks Python, Java, JavaScript and PHP. He has contributed to several online communities through his personal projects like tweet4blood (skynews coverage), blogging and social media. His explorations into the social media and social tools space led Nokia to invite him to their home office at Finland. He represented India at OpenLab-Finland (Bangalore Mirror coverage).

Prasoon Kumar

Prasoon is a web & mobile technologist. Over a span of 14 years, he has worked in large as well startup companies in Silicon Valley, New York, NCR-Delhi, and Pune-Mumbai region. He holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT-Kanpur. He dabbles in search engine, scalable web architecture, usability and security of mobile applications. Currently, he works in Justdial, largest local search engine in India and looks after searches, database, opinion mining, unstructured text parsing etc among many things. He is involved in technology community and barcamps.

Ratheesh Pisharody plays the role of an Applications Architect at MetricStream and is responsible for defining the methodologies and technologies for building configurable and scalable GRC solutions. Ratheesh has played a key role in the development of a GRC Application Framework that has enabled faster application development and high customer satisfaction. Ratheesh believes in technology that solves the user functional problems and is constantly on the lookout for solutions/patterns that can be boxed into reusable models for consumption by the developer community. Ratheesh has about 10 years of experience in the Software Industry. Prior to MetricStream, Ratheesh has worked with Oracle Consulting delivering solutions to large multinational customers.
