Dr. Parag Pruthi
Founder, Chairman & CEO, NIKSUN
Dr. Pruthi is the founder of NIKSUN INC. Dr. Pruthi brings over twenty-three years expertise in network security, surveillance, data warehousing/mining and systems performance evaluation. Based upon his doctoral research on the use of Chaos theory to model high variability phenomenon in networking, Dr. Pruthi along with notable colleagues in the industry developed unique methods of analyzing network traffic enabling a scalable and integrated approach to network security and performance. Over the past decade, Dr. Pruthi has led NIKSUN from a garage startup to a profitable enterprise. With customers ranging all over the globe from financial institutions to governments, the broad ranging applicability of NIKSUNs technology has not even reached a fraction of the addressable market. Dr. Pruthi goal is to continue to use sound business fundamentals to lead NIKSUN to address the broader markets by constantly innovating a well-defined set of security and performance solutions. Prior to founding NIKSUN, Dr. Pruthi was at Bellcore, Telcordia and other research institutions. In his prior career; he was instrumental in developing leading edge tools for large-scale collection and analysis of data from production carrier and enterprise networks. His expertise stems from solving important problems in security, telephony, broadband and wireless network management.
Dr. Gulshan Rai
Director, Computer Emergency Response Team India (CERT-In)
Dr. Gulshan Rai is M Sc, M Tec and Ph.D in electronics with specializations in communications and information Technology. He has over 25 years of experience in different areas of Information Technology which include Cyber Security, e-Governance, Legal Framework and the Information Technology Act for e-commerce, and several related fields. Dr. Rai has been working since 1998 in the area of evolving legal framework to address issues arising out of cyberspace .He has authored Information Technology Act,2000 and also Amendments therein. At present, he is in the rank of Additional Secretary and currently holding post of Director General CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) and Head of Department of E-Security and Cyber Law Division in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Indian Computer Emergency Response Team is an Statutory office. Prior to this he was Executive Director, ERNET India for over 7 years and he was instrumental in setting up of the first large scale education and research network in close collaboration with the leading educational and research institutions in the country. Dr. Rai is particularly focused on developing security capabilities in the country through increased security education programs
Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi

Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, a 1984 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), is a professional with wide ranging experience in technology management, Information & Communication Technology, technical education, administration, policy reforms and project management. Presently he is working as Joint Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs at New Delhi. He was looking after the matter relating to the Centre-State relations till 2010. Presently his main responsibilities include management and deployment of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), namely CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles and NSG. He is also responsible for Cyber Security and Information Security as Chief Information Security Officer, MHA and various projects related to Information & Communication Technology in the Ministry of Home Affairs. In his 30 years career as a civil servant, he has handled a variety of challenging assignments like Information Technology, Technical Education and Industrial Training, Education, Science and Technology, Industries, Employment Generation and Vocational Training, etc. besides the assignments as Deputy Commissioner, District Magistrate, ADM and SDM in Punjab.

His credentials include “Seva Ratna Award 2004” from the Centenarian Trust (Chennai) and “Bhugol Bhushan Award 2006” from the Deccan Geographical Society India (Pune).

He is a Chevening Scholar and has gained his Masters in ‘Global Security’ from Defence College of Management and Technology, UK Defence Academy, United Kingdom. He is a graduate/fellow of US DoD’s Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, Hawaii US in Comprehensive Response to counter-Terrorism Course. He did his B Tech (honors) in Computer Science and Technology from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India.
Purushottam Sharma

Purushottam born in year 1964 at Gwalior in MP, he completed his schooling from a government school in year 1979. He has a B.E. (Hons.) from BITS, Pilani and an MBA from Northumbria University New Castle upon Tyne, UK. He joined Indian Police Service soon after graduation in first attempt in year 1986. Presently, he holds the post of IGP SCRB. In this capacity, he is the nodal officer for the critical mission mode project CCTNS. His achievements are authored book on “Transnational Organized Crimes” & “Community Policing in Rewa and authored book on Finger Prints “FINGERPRINTS BIOMETRICS: CRADLE TO COFFIN” also Chairperson of National AFIS Benchmarking Committee, NCRB, New Delhi.

Agarwal, DDG(NT) is an Indian Telecommunication Services officer of the 1986 batch and is presently working as Deputy Director General (Networks and Technologies) in the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. He has also been designated as the Central Coordinating Officer from the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, to coordinate with Government and Industry for transition from IPv4 to IPv6 in the country.

Sachi is a professional with over 14 years of experience in Information Security, Privacy and Risk management. He has worked with organizations in matters involving information security compliance, computer forensics, penetration testing, fraud investigations, computer security incident response, and Lawful Interception/Monitoring. He is currently the Chief Security Officer, Asia Pacific for BT. His responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all BT security policies; compliance with regulatory requirements; Security compliance of BT Global Sourcing partners; and support of investigations and fraud. He also supports the commercial aspects via Bid security support, contract assurance audits and delivery of the security elements in customer contracts. Prior to joining BT, Sachi worked for PwC. He was also earlier involved in the setting up of CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team). Sachi holds the CISSP, CEH, CISA and PRINCE2 certifications. He is also a member of the Asia Crisis and Security Group.

Zia who began his career as an Avionics Engineer at HAL – Bangalore, is a graduate from Florida Institute of Technology, USA (1992).He Worked at Infotec of Florida as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) where he developed a messaging software infrastructure for service provider segment. In 1998 he founded Scope Technologies Inc., an R&D and Training Company that developed secure messaging software for the enterprise at Orlando, Florida. He was the founder Vice-President of this company. Presently he is working behind some patents like “SecKeyD”: A Method and System for Secure Key Distribution in Constrained Environments) and A Method and System for Disaster Recovery with minimal RTO/RPO as a Co-inventor. Currently he holds the designation of Executive Director - Center for Development of Advancement Computing.
