Dr. Lalit Surajmal Kanodia
Chairman, Datamatics Global Services
Dr. Lalit Surajmal Kanodia is the Chairman of Datamatics Global Services Limited. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai. Subsequently, he obtained an MBA and Ph.D, both from MIT, USA. He was a topper in both these institutes. Dr. Kanodia is a Ford Foundation Fellow. He received the Distinguished Alumnus Award of IIT, Mumbai. He is one of the 10 persons included in the Hall of Fame, published by Dataquest alongwith late JRD Tata and our late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. He has served at the Past President of the Management Consultants’ Association of India and Chairman of the Electronic & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (Western Region). He is the present President of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce, Western India. He is Chairman of the IT Committee of Indian Merchants’ Chamber. He has been a Member of the Executive Committee of Nasscom. He also served on various Committees of the Government of India and the State of Maharashtra. He has been invited to deliver the convocation address to graduating MBA students by 4 institutes and was the main speaker at the Itochu (CTC) Annual Conference in Japan. Dr. Kanodia is currently on the Regional Board of MIT (Europe, Asia and Africa). Dr. Kanodia is the founder CEO of TCS. While in the US, he was Consultant to the Ford Motor Company and Arthur D. Little. He also taught at MIT. He founded Datamatics Limited in 1975. He is the Honorary Consul General of Chile in India.

Tojo Jose

Out of a total experience of more than 25 years, Tojo has worked both in India and abroad, both as a Human Resources practioner and also as a consultan. He started his career with HPCL where he held responsibilities in the Corporate office as well as Head of HR for North and South Regions. On leaving HPCL, he joined Arvind Mills where he had a stint of 5 years and was designated as Head HR for Textiles Business at the time of leaving Arvind Mills. After Arvind Mills, Tojo had a stint with Arthur Anderson in Change Management Consulting before proceeding to Middle East where he was Group Chief Human Resources Officer (GCHRO) for Al-Suwaidi Group. Based out of the Holding Company, he was responsible for HR for the 9 companies in the Group, employing more than 10,000 employees, drawn from more than 30 countries. On return to India after a 6 years stint in the Middle East, he joined as Vice President - Human Resouces with Jubilant Energy, where he served for almost 4 years. Currently he is working with Blue Star Limited as Executive Vice President - Human Resources responsible for both HR & EHS, with a mandate to introduce and institutionalize HR best practices as relevant to Blue Star needs and culture. Roopesh Tiwari

He is responsible for the Human Capital function in totality for the Asia region, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Talent Management, Internal Resource Management, HR Generalism, Training, Competency and Career Development of all personnel across functions. Before joining SumTotal, Mr. Tiwari was the Principal Manager – HR at SKS Micro Finance, an organisation dealing in microfinance for the rural population of India. In that capacity he was responsible for all HR activities for Northern India and was the prime adviser to the Core Management Group on employee relation related issues. Prior to that, Mr. Tiwari was the Head of HR in a manufacturing unit of Hindustan Insecticide Limited, taking care of all the HR activities ranging from training & development to workforce management. Among his earlier positions, he has been regional HR head for CAE Simulation Technologies, global leaders in pilot training and simulation development. Mr. Tiwari started his career with Eli Lily Ranbaxy in 1997 and then joined Public Sector giant Food Corporation of India (FCI) as Area Manager.
