Guru is President & MD of ARM India since June 2009. In 2002, Ganesan relocated to India to set up the India operations of Artisan Components Inc. In December 2004, Artisan was acquired by ARM, the world leader in semiconductor IP, and Ganesan continued as the Managing Director of ARM India. In 2006, Ganesan returned to bay area as Vice-President, Engineering at ARM, San Jose, California.
Prior to ARM and Artisan, Ganesan was Director of Engineering at Synopsys, Mountain View and his business unit was acquired by Artisan Components in January 2001. His earlier assignments were with Texas Instruments, Dallas; Cadence Design Systems, San Jose; and HP, Cupertino. Ganesan started his career with Tata Consultancy Services after acquiring a master’s degree in engineering.Krishna is the Corporate Sr. Director & MD of the India Design Center of Rambus Inc., and is responsible for the complete operations of the design center. Prior to Rambus, he held the positions of, Director of Engineering and subsequently the MD of the India design Center of National Semiconductors, for 11 years from 2000. Earlier to that he was the head of one of the R&D divisions in the Mil – Aerospace vertical in Bharath electronics a, Defense PSU. He is credited to have designed the first ASIC in India in 1987 that went into volume production and used for many Secure Defense Communication systems. Have over 3 decades of experience in the electronics Industry, covering a wide spectrum of functions from Silicon design, System design, System engineering, and high performance IP design in deep sub micro processes.
Krishna, as he known in the industry circles, works with premier engineering schools in India to foster Industry/Academia relationship and was instrumental in setting up the Advanced VLSI lab in IIT Kharagpur, along with the Corporate University relationship team in 2005. He is actively involved with the industry bodies like IESA, VLSI society of India and a member of IEEE.Sanjay is a technocrat with over 25 years of experience ranging across Telecom, Networking and Electronic Design and Semiconductor industry- both in India as well as the US. Prior to founding Tejas Networks, Sanjay was Managing Director of Synopys India, a global leader in Electronic Design Automation. He received the “Technovation Sarabhai Award” in 2013 for his contribution to the Indian industry from Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the “Electronics Man of the Year 2011”, from ELCINA, and was selected as one of the “Top-20 Stars of Indian Telecom Industry” by Aegis Graham Bell Awards in 2012. He is the Regional Chairman (South) of India's Telecom Export Promotion Council (TEPC), is a member of the CII National Committee on ICTE, is a member of Karnataka ICT Group 2020 and is also a member of various Government of India committees, including the National Telecom Manufacturing council.
