Dhaneswar Rath Institute of Engineering & Management Studies (DRIEMS) owes its existence to the vision of Late Dhaneswar Rath after whom the Institution is named. It was established in the year 1999 by the dedicated, service minded philanthropists who had the missionary zeal of uplifting the new generation and equipping them as skilled technocrats to rebuild the society in a modern scientific way. The Institute initially started with five disciplines viz., Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology & Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering but now it offers two new courses with the addition of Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering.
