Govt says no plan for GAIL's foreign float

NEW DELHI: The Government did not plan to place part of the forthcoming public share offer in gas firm GAIL India Ltd on foreign markets, Disinvestment Minister Arun Shourie said on Tuesday.
Shourie said the Government also did not plan foreign floats for its residual stake sales in five other firms, including telecoms firm Videsh Sanchar, software firm CMC and Indian Petrochemicals Corp.
