BANGALORE: Schema, a provider of industry network optimisation, simulation and related management solutions has announced its entry into the Indian market. This comes close on the heels of its completion of RF optimisation project in the Gujarat circle of Hutchison Essar, in which Schema’s GSM Forté optimisation solution was utilised. In the recently completed optimisation projects, Hutch achieved an impressive level of improvement to network quality—reducing dropped calls nearly 40%. To achieve this network improvement, Hutch implemented Schema’s GSM Forté, an automatic optimisation product based solely on mobile measurements. “Hutch strives to deliver the very best network quality to its subscribers and we are pleased to be instrumental in this process”, Yosi Ben Dov, Schema CEO said adding Schema is now formalising its expanded presence in India. Presently, it provides Indian market support through its local partner IWTL which offers end-to-end optimisation services, and turnkey optimisation projects including benchmarking, drive testing, transmission optimisation, as well as on-site and phone support. To make people aware about it, the company has planned one-day seminars in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai that are designed to enable Indian operators to maximise the efficiency of their GSM, CDMA, and Transport networks. The seminars include presenters from such leading companies as Andrew, Nortel, Cellcom and IWTL.
