Scandent Solutions Q2 net up 16.36%

BANGALORE: Scandent Solutions has reported a 16.36 percent rise in net profit and a 19 percent growth in revenues for the second quarter ended September 2005, over the corresponding period last year on a consolidated basis.
Scandent's net profit for the quarter stood at $1.92 million on revenues of $18.12 million.
Sequentially, net profits and revenues were up by 14 percent and 2.7 percent respectively over the June quarter.
The operating margins have improved from 13 percent in Q2 FY05 to 17 percent in Q2 FY06 while the net profit margins excluding extraordinary items improved from 7 percent to 11 percent.
