Pinnacle CEO resigns, Vaughan named interim CEO

NEW YORK: Pinnacle Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:PCLE - News) said Monday its president and chief executive officer J. Kim Fennell resigned, effective immediately, and will be temporarily replaced by Charles Vaughan, a partner in a private investment firm. Mountain View, California-based Pinnacle, which makes video editing software, said it has started a search for a new CEO.
